We are a full line lighting distributor providing only the highest quality products at competitive prices backed by our easy order and quick shipment programs.

In no case will The Lighting Factory be obligated or liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages for breach of these or any other terms and conditions expressed or implied.

Placing Your Order
Our business hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. You may place your order on our website anytime, or by calling our order line, 1-813-433-2309, during our normal business hours. Please check the lamp type, wattage and voltage for your specific application before ordering light fixtures.
Safe and Secure Shopping
Our site uses the latest in 128 bit encryption technology from GoDaddy. With a GoDaddy Web Server Certificate, we can assure you any information sent between us during your checkout process is encrypted or scrambled, making it impossible to intercept or steal. Your browser will indicate a SSL secured session by changing the http to https and displaying a small padlock. You can click on the padlock to view our SSL certificate.
We do not have a minimum order requirement, however, some items are only sold in case quantities and must be purchased as full cases.
We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Your credit/debit card will not be charged until your order is ready to ship. By providing us with your credit card information, you confirm that the card is yours. All credit/debit cards are subject to authorization and validation checks. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorize payment, we will not ship your order to you, and will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of products. We are not responsible for your card issuer or bank charging you any fees as a result of our processing your credit/debit card payment in accordance with your order.
Our website contains a large number of products and it is possible despite our best efforts that there may be an error in pricing on some of the products. We will correct any errors as soon as we become aware of them. If the price displayed on our website differs from the correct price of the product, we retain the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. We have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the purchase price.
Due to the popularity of some products, we may not always have an item in stock. We will accept orders for out-of-stock items to ensure that you will be the first to receive the product once it becomes available. If all or part of your order is not in stock, the product will be placed on backorder and shipped when the item is available. You will be notified of items placed on backorder. You may cancel a backorder at any time prior to shipping by calling our Customer Service number at 1-813-433-2309.
We offer free shipping on merchandise orders of $1,500.00 or more within the contiguous 48 states. Order must ship to one location using the carrier of our choice. Additional shipping and handling charges will apply to orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or other locations outside of the continental 48 United States. Expedited shipping is available-please call our order line, 1-813-433-2309, to place your order and request this service. Additional charges will apply and we do not offer free shipping on any expedited orders. Orders are shipped via UPS ground. All shipments are F.O.B. origin, and product ownership passes to you when the shipment leaves our factory.
Shipping lead times
Most orders will ship within 48 hours.
There will be an automatic charge of $25.00 to your credit/debit card for any shipment that you refuse delivery of without prior written permission from The Lighting Factory.
Please note the following:
- Due to shipper restrictions we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.
- All Shipments are subject to stock availability.
- We do not ship on Saturdays or Sundays.
Damaged or Incorrect Shipments
The Lighting Factory will not assume liability for loss and/or damaged freight claims for any shipment. You will be responsible for filing claims directly with the carrier, according to the carrier's procedure and requirements for filing a loss or damage claim. If your shipment arrives damaged, be sure to make a notation on the carrier's Bill of Lading before signing for the shipment. All damaged merchandise must be kept in the original cartons for inspection by the carrier, if required.
Any claims involving incorrect or short shipments believed to be The Lighting Factory’s error must be made within 72 hours of receipt of the order in order to be considered.
Sales tax is collected on all orders shipping to Florida and Washington. Tax-exempt orders for resale or exempt organizations will not be processed until a valid tax certificate is received. Please call our order line, 1-813-433-2309, to place your order and information on how to submit your tax certificate.
All products are manufactured by others, and are warranted per the manufacturers’ product warranties. Please refer to the manufacturers’ warranties for warranty information. No other guarantee or warranty, either expressed or implied, exists other than as stated.
Returns are allowed only on new products in unopened cartons in resalable condition, with prior approval by The Lighting Factory. All returns must be accompanied by a valid receipt, unless the customer has an established account.
Products returned with 30 days from shipping date will not be assessed a restocking fee. Products returned after the initial 30 days and less than 60 days from shipping date are subject to a 35% restocking charge. Products returned after 60 days will not be accepted unless defective. All returned merchandise is subject to inspection before credit is authorized. Credit may be allowed only for products and quantities as verified by The Lighting Factory, and will be calculated from the lower of the original price or the current price. Refunds will be issued in the same form as payment originally used for purchase.
All returns must be sent freight prepaid except in the case of a shipping error by The Lighting Factory. Please call during normal business hours to request a return authorization number (RMA Number). To return a product an RMA number must be referenced on the return shipment to The Lighting Factory; returns will not be allowed without a return authorization number. Items returned to The Lighting Factory without an RMA Number will either be refused or discarded without credit. Special ordered items are non-returnable. Freight charges are also non-refundable.
